Facing increasing demand for services, the YWCA needed to close a deficit in operating revenues, shore up reserves, and fund significant capital projects. They knew they needed a development plan. But first they needed a clear, strategic vision and roadmap for growth that would allow them to serve more victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The YWCA reached back to Due East multiple times during different stages of growth over nearly a decade. Due East guided the YWCA through a strategic plan, development plan, fundraising and governance training and most recently, the launch of a successful $7 million capital campaign to build a new shelter for victims of domestic violence and a home for minor victims of sex trafficking.

Focused, sustainable organization with an expanded base of support and steady, year-over-year growth in revenues since 2010.
