Prior to building Due East Partners, Bess led the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County as Executive Director, transforming the organization by leading efforts to design and build organizational capacity and raise more than $17 million in new assets.

Present: Partner with and elevate social sector leaders to engage their key constituents in strategic growth, with a focus on organizational development, business planning and fundraising.

Happiest When: Hiking in the woods with family and friends.
